Last Exception for degree_tracker

I don't know what is causing this or what affect it has on the game, but I keep getting a lot of last exceptions. I had mods and CC, but the last exceptions continued even after I had removed all of them.

    @sovereignsimmer You can do that with MCCC. I've done it to makeover townies before. Generate a random sim, or find a townie, click on them and choose MC CAS, then Copy/Paste, then Paste Tray Sim, find the name of household with the sim in it, then pick the one you want. You'll have the option to past a few thing like traits as well, or just the sim.

    @Byrnie75 Ok, the diplioma popped into my inventory around 2am with a notification about "the proof is in my inventory" like it's supposed to. So I can skip the graduation. The diploma is from the correct school (a separate problem i was having) and no LE's related to the degree tracker. I didn't add or remove any mods, with the exception of briefly remove D.U. mods when I disabled it. Crossing my fingers but think that *******ing Degree tracker LE is gone.

    Can't promise this will work for you, but I was suffering constant Last Exceptions related to the degree tracker as well for a few sims I had used cheats on to graduate immediately after their semesters had started. I deleted the households who I had cheated with and the last exception went away, but if I re-imported them back from the gallery it came back. I ultimately managed to resolve the issue for my sims with the following:

    - Shuffle all of the sims who I knew were causing the issue into a single household

    - Re-enroll the offending sims in university (without using a cheat).

    - Back out to manage worlds

    - Go back into the household. I immediately got notifications that my sims had failed the semester and were on probation

    - Drop out of university

    Since doing that, loading other households hasn't triggered the last exception related to degree tracker. I've reloaded the game a few times and the last exception warning pop up no longer appears for me. Hope it works for you as well.

    i tried this, also tried deleting the household but still getting Last Exception errors (CM: see spoiler tag)

    @Byrnie75 I have been asking around even in MCCC's discord server, no one told me that was possible! Thank you, I'll experiment that!

    I've been getting an LE like this also. I do have mods installed. The Exceptions thing in MCCC doesn't help me figure out what the LE's are, as I have no clue as to what they say, and I was getting an LE for about a month before I found T-Mex's Better Exceptions mod which told me what it was. 

    I looked through all of my mods and none of them mentioned anything about a degree_tracker being in them so I decided to google it and here I am.

    Last night I noticed that my sims would graduate but when I go to careers the degree acknowledgement would not appear.  By degree acknowledgement I mean the little icon that appears next to career levels for a career that it's for.
    For example, one of my sims is a History Major because I wanted him to go into the Military and become an officer. Well, when he graduated, I had him look for a job on his phone and the only one available for the Military was Raw Recruit. 
    That was disappointing because I had to cheat to get him up to level 6 where he would have been if it had worked the way it's supposed to.

    However, I had a different sim as a Economics major (I didn't put him in that one) and I was able to see the little icons on the careers covered by that degree.

    My guess is that it's probably affecting some degrees and not others.

    Hi, having the same question,it shows "degree_tracker" which reasoned by "Exception in Sim Timeline: Exception running Element (ZeroDivisionError: division by zero)", since I CHEATED on my degrees of University DLC,help!!!

    How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
    What is your current game version number? 1.63.136.1010
    What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? All expansions, strangerville, vampires, spa day, and outdoor retreat. for stuff packs i have movie hangout,, perfect patio, and luxury party
    Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? be enrolled in a university and email a professor about progress.
    What happens when the bug occurs? sim will go onto computer perform the task and once almost complete sim just immediately stands up and and no information about the course grade shows up. it just cancels it.
    What do you expect to see? sim should go onto computer and finish emailing professor then get a notification on course grade.
    Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Yes
    Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Neutral/Not Sure
