Lights messed up since Dx11

Hello,

I recently discovered that my outdoor lighting has been messed up. It used to be a natural light, kinda yellow (the usual) but since I changed my game to dx11 I noticed that the lighting changed and a lot of stuff has gotten messed up with my game.

The natural light turned into a bright white light that looks weird on the outside and makes my wallpapers not look like they were before. That was just a minor problem but it started to bother me because my gameplay didn‘t look natural anymore.

Dx11 has also been messing with my graphics and cc:

1. everything is unclear

2. Everything in more pixel which makes my game look cheap and not clear anymore.
and number 3. Neither do lashes or glasses work.

I tried:

1. batch fixing my cc with S4S since I had a problem with my wallpaper (got fixed)

2. deleted cache

3. de-installed the game.

4. Repaired it several times

5. removed and updated old or broken CC& mods

6.updated my mods

nothing seems to work and I’m starting to get really frustrated.

I need somebody to tell me that it isn‘t on my end and reassure me that EA is fixing this asap.

Ty in advance for help and answers.

  • @Mxriezqn Do you use Reshade or Gshade? If so, you need to completely reinstall that. You can support at a Reshade or Gshade forum. (It's outside software, not mods)

@luthienrising Hi I don‘t use reshade or gshade. I’ve never had this problem until switching to dx11 and backing up my cc to 11 as well. I do appreciate the help 🙂
  • @Mxriezqn Do you get this issue when you do a vanilla test? Move (not copy) the Mods folder to the desktop (or rename it), delete the file called localthumbcache, open the game to test, and exit without saving.
