Main menu ONLY-Sim turns black and has no hair

When I open up the game, I'm greeted with my sim who has blackened skin and no hair. If I go into the game, she looks completely fine. I used a lot of CC on her, but I'm also not sure if that would be the issue. I use the same CC on plenty of other sims and have not had this result. I am just confused because she only looks like this on the main menu before I load into the save. 

Also, I have only played maybe a minute of in-game time with this sim and have added no other households. I only use this save file to build and she was the sim I created to make the save file. So, I don't think this would be any gameplay-related bug.

    Sorry, I can't recall any other trick to fixing this. I would suggest using search in the Forums.

    LaurenKoster​ I could be that you have cc or mod that is corrupted??  I refuse to use any cc or mod after losing over 4 - 5 yrs of game play because of corrupted cc.  I have never used mod's.  If you have cc and or mod's, there is a program to help you identify issues with them, so I have read.  I do know that the program is not from EA/Maxis.  If my memory serves me right it is called a MCCC????   I would look into it if your using CC or mod.  There are a lot of people on this forum and on Discord that can help you with what you need regarding CC and MOD's.

    Thank you both! I'll try messing around with some things and see if anything changes. I'm also considering just removing all of my mods and cc and starting fresh. I'm really tired of having so much anyway because it's impossible to keep track of, even though I have all of it so well-organized.
