I use a 2012 MacBook pro with retina display and when my sims paint from reference or take photos the paints would be blank and the photos would be black. I disabled the mod and both worked again. Is this a common problem with MC Command? Is there a workaround for it?
MooseGoose has posted his question over at discordapp and based on our talk there, I give an update for mac users who encounter the same problem. In this topic I found a workaround: http://answers.ea.com/t5/The-Sims-Mac/WORKAROUND-MAC-Black-photos/td-p/5660969
ACCEPTED SOLUTION
Hi, I solved the problem for me. I uncheck the retina display option in the settings and now I can take photos again. But this problem have never happened before the lastest update, but I hope they will fix this problem with the retina display
For MooseGoose the problem doesn't occur when MCCC is disabled and retina is displayed.
With MCCC installed, it works with the retina display option unchecked.
In the AHQ pages they mention problems tied to the retina display. That there is a bug in that somehow.
The problem seems to be with that and not with the mod.
