MC Command Center Master Thread

Welcome to our new MCCC Thread
in the new EA Forums!

After more than than 3000 posts on 186 pages over 7 years it's time to start a new chapter to continue the work of the old MCCC thread.

Just in case you want to check previous posts the old thread was imported to the "Sims 4 Franchise Discussion" section and can be found here.

And even the very first thread from 2015 - 2017 survived and can be found here.

Note: You might change the sorting order to "Newest" to see the latest post in this thread!

    Redownload MCCC v2024.5.1 - minor bug fixes and improvements

    MCCC v2024.5.1 download sources were updated with a new version containing some minor bug fixes and improvements. If you don't have any issues you might skip it but it won't hurt to redownload the latest files.

    Note: no new version number.

    Known Issue in MCCC hotfix v2024.5.1 still to fix:

    A LE can show-up on start-up of your game if you have baby motive decay, friendship/romance relationship decay, really any of the decay changes could cause it if the settings are not set to default. So if you get an LE on launch of your game and the LE says something about a relationship statistic or a baby motive, the easiest fix is to just change the MCCC setting for those to the default value.

    We got a second game update v1.108.318 some minutes ago.

    The new forum seems to work different than the old one and for the sake of finding what you're looking for, I think it's the best way to make separate posts instead of continuing a single thread.

    Being here is still an experiment. But over the years I will hopefully find a way to provide you with all the information in a reasonable way.

      I would like that this same thread would be updated. It is sure bit different than onl forum, but imo one thread still is more clear. 

      Hopefully there will be soon a way to set  "newest first" as default.

        Yeah - I have been thinking about the best way to do this.

        But it's not only the sorting order. You only have limited editing tools if you answer. No spoilers, headlines, colours. That's only available if you start a new thread. And another disadvantage is the sheer lenght of the tread, combined with the - ahem - basic search functionality. Once it's longer then one "page" (= click "show more"), you will never find what you're looking for, if it's not the first or last or most liked post.

        It looks like a good strategy to get a post noticed is to reply to the most liked post in a thread. 

        Well, if only it would be that simple.

        I try to take the challenge and adapt as good as I can, but this forum software is imho not made for longer threads. Maybe there will be updates in the future, but as of now, in my opinion it's not possible to continue the way we've done it in the old forums.
