MCCC - Vampire Creations

With MCCC is it possible to have vampires created autonomously?

I have a few "non-played" vampire sims that I've made with the "creation" trait to turn other sims into vampires.
They have "risky vampirism" turned on, yet I'm not sure it means what I think it does. I was hoping they'd drink from other sims autonomously with a chance of turning them into vampires. However, it has not been the case. Ever. I've had this on for longer than I can remember and not a single sim in game has turned into a vampire through this method.
I even have the notifications on to specifically tell me if this occurs.

Has anyone else dabbled in this and has had any success?

    My understanding is that this will only work if a vampire breaks in on a family you are actively playing and drinks from them. Otherwise it's up to you to play a vampire and drink from other sims possibly turning them. I don't think it is possible for NPC vampires to autonomously drink from other NPC.

    Though in saying that, I have noticed that making a club with the chosen activity being 'drink plasma', will cause unplayed vampires to drink from other sims if you are actively playing a sim where the club is gathering. You could try that and see if anything happens.

    Bummer! I wish it was easier to get sims turned into the occult without me having a hand in it. Since we don't have zombies, I wanted an apocalypse type scenario to happen. But, I guess it's just not really possible :(

    Hmmm, I would try it, but I'm afraid it wouldn't be compatible with MCCC since it hasn't been updated since last year

    It didn't need updating with the latest patch, according to the creator notes.

    "Works with Patch: 12/12/19<--No Changes were needed."

    Conflicts:
    Any mod that alters the ask to be turned or offer to be turned interactions

    You can go to the MCCC discord and ask if it conflicts. This is the XML used.
