Mermaid Sim Motives Freeze

What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? Everything except Journey to Batuu and I don't have all of the kits.
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Play a mermaid sim for some time.
What happens when the bug occurs? After a random amount of time, one of my mermaid sim's motives will freeze at full and not decay no matter how long I wait.
What do you expect to see? I expect all the motives to decay at their normal rate.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Yes
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Neutral/Not Sure
I don't know if this just affects mermaid sims. I played my human sim family briefly to see if any of their motives froze, but it didn't happen to them. I do have mods installed but I did disable them and the issue was still there. The only workaround I've found is to save often and when I notice a motive bar frozen I exit without saving and return to a previous save. If I save while the motive is frozen, it will be frozen when I reload the game.
So I found out it wasn't a bug at all. When you "Commune with Spirits" (the Island Living spirits) it will give you a buff and also sometimes freeze certain motives at full (from what I found, Energy, Hunger, and Fun seem to be the ones affected) for some time. Apparently it wears off, I just never played long enough to discover that, because I thought it was a bug and had no idea it was tied to that interaction. I'm very glad it wasn't any of my mods too.
