i know the update was fixed and my sims aren’t aging now but i play on long life span and long life span is no longer long! instead of being the normal like 96 days for an adult it’s back the same as the normal life span. i want to play on long life span please!! the right amount of long!

Move your Mods folder to the Desktop and delete localthumbcache.package. Then test the game in a new save.
If it works now check for updates to your Mods and CC. Add it back a little at a time while testing until you have found all that are broken.

MCCC still has old values for lifespans, so that might be the issue.
We have to wait for it to be updated.

Just noticed I had this problem myself!
Like the commenter above me if you have MC Command Center installed then you will need to manually edit the lifespan via the MC Command Center option on your sim's computer. Then you should click the top button "MCCC Settings" and then "Set Age Span Duration..."
The default days for each life state can be found here: https://sims.fandom.com/wiki/Life_stage#The_Sims_4
bit of a pain editing it but it's better than having toddlers that age up in only six days!
