[mod-related] Game launches to black screen with main-menu words but no picture

I accidentally update my game without knowing that the mod and cc are broken since the marketplace is out. It updated like usual, but it won't open after that. So I tried to repair it on the EA ...

Mine too… I took my mods folder out and tried again and it keeps going to a black screen with some writing on it… I can’t click on anything and I can’t close it either without using my task manager… I’m so pissed off

Hi I am not an expert - just typing what worked for me when I had the black screen. I also had to use Task Manager to close the game. After that, I updated MC Command Centre and Weerbesu's UI Cheat. For me it was Weerbesu's mod that was causing the black screen. If you have any UI mods - make sure they have the latest hot fix patch - as they - as far as I can tell are causing the black screen.
