First, call them on the phone, then choose the Sims you want to travel with, then you will be taken to the Worlds page and you can choose a world like Newcrest, then the lot with your bowling alley. Anyone from any world can go with you, as long as you know them. Once you invite Sims to go with you they will be in your group and have a special plumbob over their head, and you can now choose to do things together that will include the group. To meet Sims you can travel to their home (though everyone may not be there). Then once you know a Sim you can meet their family by playing that Sim and inviting the first family over to hang out or go to the spa or whatever (this is also done by phone). You can also meet people by hanging out in public areas. Send your Sim to a bar or the bowling alley, what have you, and see who shows up.
Thanks! I've done most that stuff and I do use the phone a lot to go places, and also put my Sims in clubs and those seems to go well, but they never change their looks, even if I have changed their hair. There was a time when a group of my Sims from (not through a blowling club) Windenberg were planning to go to the new bowling alley in Newcrest, but when they got to Newcrest world, the bowling alley was not there. Does that make sense? It's kind of like some kind of time warp, as if every household see's things in their own way, based on something. Most the Sims from Newcrest could just pick up the phone and go to that bowling alley, but I had to put another bowling alley down for the Sims from Windenberg. Does that make sense? Or is it just me? I hope I am doing something wrong. I also had a new adult (from teen to adult) move out and when she did, her sister was a baby, but when she went back home to visit her family a month later, the baby was a toddler by then, not a baby, and she saw her as a baby. For that, do I need to have the Mom & new sister toddler go visit the new adult sister at her new home? I hope I am making sense. Lol. Thanks A lot. I really appreciate it! :)
