Mod to disable autonomy with babys/infants/toddlers?

I get where they're coming from having sims autonomously checking infants. It makes sense to me that a new parent would gravitate towards their infant instead of autonomously doing push-ups or dancing to Strangetunes. I just do not, for the life of me, understand why it overrides turning overall autonomy off. It shouldn't do that.
