[modded game] build mode glitched/broken & cant interact with sims

Hello! So, I just installed more CC & Mods for my current household and for some reason whenever I go into build mode it looks like the image I added, and it loads slow.
I also can't place any objects, walls/floors, or anything except for rooms. It doesn't deduct from my money count when I try to. Everything just turns invisible or doesn't want to place.

I also can't interact with sims and tell them to do anything with another sim, most of the time it works for objects but it's really a 50/50, just super slow for the game to respond to my inputs. and it's super frustrating because I'm trying to use MCCC to set stuff up, but it doesn't seem to be working.

note: I have a modded game with over 4000+ cas/build mode objects in my folder. I tried using The Sims 4 Mod Manager to try to see the problem, but it doesn't seem to catch anything besides duplicate or corrupted files. Also, Last Exceptions and Better Exceptions hadn't caught anything, so I don't know what it is.

note2: Also Also Whenever I load an household it keeps saying "Items Removed: one or more create a sim items have been removed. The items may not be installed on your computer or the Origin account that's logged in doesn't currently own these items."

That's all.

edit: forgot the screenshot

Move your Mods folder to the Desktop and delete localthumbcache.package. Then test the game in a new save.
If it works now check for updates to your Mods and CC. Add it back a little at a time while testing until you have found all that are broken.

I did that and now it's still broken. It's definitely my CC, as when I moved the folder the game was perfectly fine. I narrowed it down to a few, and I added everything back in last night, but build mode still isn't working.
Although the interactions work more often now.

I'm going to try one more time, but I this point I might just have to get new CC.

Don't add the broken stuff back in, it will remain broken until you fix it (i.e. make sure it's updated to the latest patch.) If there's no update available then they will need to stay out of your game until there is

  • @Coley666 | nvm, I fixed it! the files that were "broken" were lumpinou's pregnacy overhaul (2.76), and twisted mexi's expandable catalog. it seems i might have to get a new version of these mods.

I can now use my build mode once again!
  • My build mode is totally broken, I have removed MODS from my game and it's broken, tried App recovery and all that too and Buildmode is still breaking my game WHAT DO I DO

I don’t even know why it’s broken but if I uninstall and then reinstall it’ll take all my CC and my cats and dogs pack off my game and I don’t wanna do that! Send help.

@KayjaeBear6  You won't lose any content by uninstalling and reinstalling your game.  All your packs belong to your account and remain there regardless of how many times you reinstall.  Your custom content shouldn't get deleted either, but it's a good idea to make a backup anyway.  You can copy the Mods folder or the entire Sims 4 folder it's in to a separate device, for example an external drive or USB stick; or upload the files to a free cloud storage service like Google Drive; or, if you don't have other options, save a copy somewhere else on your computer.
