I've been trying batches randomly in no particular order.
I just made a new user folder, like you said. I launched it with no mods. My game flashed black a few times like it does when I have mods installed. Then I got this ... maybe this has been my issue all along?
krisisvp Time to take this issue to Tech Support, then. It may indeed have been a coincidence that it seemed like a mods issue. Once you're not getting that all all , with extensive gameplay over multiple sessions, that's when to start reintroducing mods.

just wanted to check back in here and say that i removed EVERYTHING but the mods i'm currently using and, guess what, you were right! so far so good! went from a 50GB mod folder to 8GB ... fingers crossed that this is it!
krisisvp A while ago I restarted my CC and mods from scratch. I'm honestly a big fan of not downloading everything now :D It takes more work to find "missing" things when I feel like I need them, but it works out.
i love cc shopping but alas! i guess those mass download days are behind me </3
