move out sim

im new to using MCCC....ii had expanded the number of sims/pets for a household. but now i cant seem to get a sim to move out like i have in the past, cant on the phone/computer. even tried in the manage worlds area of spliting a household but the household im trying to split from gets a red edge, the sim can get moved over to the other household but i cant finalize it. WHY?! i did update today my MCCC computer file so im not sure if there is a sims bug going on or if im just dumb with needing to do things different with using MCCC now while playing.

@amandag3b This is a better question for Deaderpool's support server, as it's specific to the mod. But first try this: Load a different household, then shift-click the Sim and add them to that household.
