My CC isnt showing up

Hello,

None of my Custom Content are showing up. Only the script mods (I do have both boxes checkmarked in the settings to allow mods and custom content). I reinstalled my game, right now I am having the app repair the game. These are all new mods and custom content because my hard drive broke, so I had to redownload everything and as well as update everything, so all the mods are up to date.

Right now I am removing the mods and putting them back in, I just dont know what to do because I havent encountered this since I started using CC and mods on the sims since Sims 3.

Any help is appreciated, thank you so much for everyone's time!

  • @shiggieshaggie   Hello!  Sorry you're having trouble with your CC.  Would you mind sharing a screengrab of your Mods folder?  This is what mine looks like, though yours may look different depending on your computer and OS.  Please be sure to include the file path.  You can either insert it or add as an attachment.

    @shiggieshaggie   Thanks!  First, I have to say that is quite possibly the most well organized Mods folder I've ever seen!

    Second, I want to make sure that all your CC are properly unzipped.  Based on how organized you clearly are, I'm guessing the answer is yes but I have to ask anyway just to check the box.

    Lastly, I see you have OneDrive enabled.  Can you go into the OneDrive settings and make sure the Documents / Electronic Arts / The Sims 4 folders are not automatically syncing?

  • Yes everything is unzipped and thank you, thats very sweet of you 😊

    To make it unsync, do I sign out of OneDrive? Im unsure how to make it stop automatically syncing and dont even want OneDrive 😅

    @shiggieshaggie   To be clear, I don't use OneDrive and I don't know if this is causing the issue.  I just want to rule it out.  Check out the options on the Microsoft help page below.

    There are instructions to "Unlink OneDrive" altogether as well as instructions for how to "Choose which OneDrive folders sync to your computer".
