    @Lovelygirl4610

    Both things you mention happen when you use CC and the game is updated or you add new packs.  I've had it happen many times.  To fix it can take a lot of time and effort as the only thing you can do is go through your CC and find whatever CC file that is causing it and remove it from your mods folder or replace it there is an updated version.

    Based on your comments though, I'm pretty sure you have more than a few outdated files. Specifically, you'll need to look at all your CC hairs, shoes, tops and full body outfits based on the issues you've mentioned.  And based on my own experience as I use a lot of CAS cc too, you've probably got at least a few files that are simply broken and never worked at all but can still cause problems. Those are easy to miss since they do not show up in the game at all.

    There are several ways you can go about.  You can use the always popular 50/50 method which is usually much faster, but you'll have to do a lot of game starts and quits as you go along.

    Or you could look at each file one at the time.  If you have a lot of CC, it will take you forever if you go that way using the game to look at stuff individually.  So, if you don't already have it, I suggest you download a copy of Sims4 Studio (S4S) from the link on this page [INFORMATION] Common Game Fixing Mods - Hero Approved - Answer HQ (ea.com).
    Just scroll down a bit and the link to the site hosting the program is there listed as S4Studio.  S4S lets you look at each item on a 3D model without having to continually open and close the game for every single item, so it is way faster to get the job done.

    I also suggest while you go through your CC files is to take a look at what you actually use too and get rid of anything that you don't.  The fewer CC and mods you use, the game runs smoother with less lag.  I was amazed how much better the game ran after I had cleaned out all the broken files and stuff I didn't use and it fixed a lot of little glitches had that were caused by the broken and outdated CC that I let accumulate in my mods folder.

    Hope this helps.
