My mods aren't showing up after factory resetting and updating my mods

Before factory resetting, I wasn't able to load into any worlds because of an error code. After fixing this problem with factory resetting my user files, I added back all my saves, mods, and etc. into the new Sims 4 folder. I went into the game, and it showed that all my cc was working but only one of my mods (slice of life) were showing. Since none of my other mods were showing, I decided to update and reinstall the mods that weren't showing. Even though I did this, none of the mods I had updated or reinstalled showed, slice of life still being the only mod that shows. I have mods enabled but still nothing shows. Please help.

@K1nd3r1a  Please move that Mods folder to the desktop, launch the game to create a new Mods folder, and quit.  Download a fresh copy of one mod that's confirmed compatible with the current patch level (1.90), add it to the Mods folder, and see whether it shows up.

If you get an error when trying to move the Mods folder, or it just copies rather than actually moving, let me know.

@puzzlezaddict I moved the mods folder to my desktop and added a mod compatible to the current patch level into the new mods folder, but it didn't show up.
  • @K1nd3r1a I figured it out, I had to reinstall the xml injector. Thanks for the help!
