My Mods Don't Want to Work

So basically I thought I'd re-download the sims again today and all was well and good until I got in the actual game. My normal mods that I use ( in this case MC and The Royalty mod ) weren't loading...

    Is everything up to date? Like the game and each of the mods you are trying to use? 

    Are any other mods that you use working or is everything not working?

    Do you individually download mods or use a platform like Curse Forge?
