My sims 4 cannot handle the amount of mods i have but was fine yesterday.

My Sims 4 game was working fine with my large amount of mods but now i can barely add half of what i had. I just added some more mods today but none are causing problems, I've sorted through multiple times but no difference, i have tried reinstalling, resetting, repairing practically everything. I cannot play sims 4 without mods and im stumped.
