my sims 4 disables my mods after downloading the cats and dogs

Question

Sims 4 was working just fine until i downloaded the cats and dogs. it keeps disabling my mods even after i did everything i found on youtube. I deleted all of my scripted mods but it still disables them with the custom content i downloaded.

Yes, my options reset everytime i open the game, and i am not really sure what is a security software.
