My sims can’t do romantic reactions
So my sims are both young adults and have been boyfriend and girlfriend since they were teenagers. Their romance bar is full and they recently became BFFs and now they suddenly can’t do any romantic ...

@JodieS761 Is the social interaction option Romance gone? If you have each of them active, do they get the Romance interaction menu when clicking on other sims?
If you have mods and CC: cut the mod folder out of The Sims 4 folder, and put it somewhere for safe keeping. Delete the localthumbcache.package in The Sims 4 folder. Do a repair in Origin. Does it work now?
I read a couple of reports on teen being promised and then unable to get married; but could not find any proper bug report on it. You can look yourself here though:

The workaround I found for non-modded games was to use the social Ask To Be Just Friends, and then level up their relationship again, making the Propose option to appear.
@DonroaAkashu Thanks for the help, but when the girl interacts with other males she can’t be romantic either except for one other boy that she was flirty with once and when I tap onto her romantic relationships only her boyfriend comes up yet she can’t ask him on a date! However the boyfriend can be romantic with anyone but her! Is the girlfriend the problem??
I might just have to break them up and move on

If you use the saving option Save As, naming it Test for instance, you can experiment, and if it doesn't work you can just load your old save again.Other workarounds I found:
Switch active household to any other, play them for a little while, then switch back.
Move the girlfriend out into another household, for instance in Manage World view, play for a while, and then move the girlfriend back.
Make a new The Sims 4 folder, and see if the problem goes away. Here is a good description on how to do it. Only copy your saves to the new folder, to begin with, just to test. Your old folder and all the files will be safe where they are.

Im testing it, buuuut, now that i moved my mods OUT, All my Mods aren't there in the folder i moved!!! ☹️

@DonroaAkashu It still doesn't work. My issue:
So I have a save. that has Abel *My boy sim*
and Gordy *The Girl Sim*
So, I want to use the romance interaction but, its not there,
for some reason When i click on other girls From Gordy's point
I have the interactions, When I click girls from Abel's point
No interations other than: friendly, Mean, funny, and mischief
When I click on other boys from Abel's Point, Nothing shows other than those either. What am i doing wrong??
What I did (It still dont work)
I have Aprox. 1,600 Mods. I moved them all of (The Sims 4)
Removed the Local.Thumbcache,
Repaired the game,
And then I moved all my mods back in,
I opened sims4, And Nothing Had ChangedAlso, They aren't Boyfriend, girlfriend. Nor Engaged, or Married, When I started the save it was like this
