My sims can’t do romantic reactions

So my sims are both young adults and have been boyfriend and girlfriend since they were teenagers. Their romance bar is full and they recently became BFFs and now they suddenly can’t do any romantic ...

My sim wouldn't do a romantic interaction with a male, turns out it was her cousin, makes sense why she couldn't lol
