My sims don't have the option to do their homework?! (HSY)

Hey y'all!

I am currently playing with the Price family in Copperdale and I am having the darndest time getting the one or two, usually Sidney and/or Savannah to do their homework. It's not that they don't have homework to do, they do, but it's just not available to do. I don't know what happened. I follow them to school, so maybe that has something to do with it?

Sorry that it's taken me so very long to get back to this post! I completely forgot all about it. I did end up solving this problem pretty quickly after by myself. It was because of an outdated mod. It was the Better Education (I think that's the name) mod by adeepindigo. I have since fixed this issue for myself, but if you would like to keep this thread open for those who play without mods, I have no problem with that! Thanks for your help!

It turned out the reason she couldn’t do her homework was that she wasn’t going to high school. This is the first teen I’ve played since the most recent patch. She had to use the phone to find work, where there was the option to go to high school. She’s a Wonder Child in prep for an Apocalypse challenge so it was pretty important she went! First time that’s ever happened and I realise it’s a different issue but it would be worth checking for anyone else having the problem that they don’t actually need to make the choice to go. As soon as she’d chosen hogh school as her career, she could do her homework.

Hihi, I have the same problem except I have this child. I did what you said and I see the option "Make Do Homework Available" and when I click this absolutely nothing happens. I also reset the object and the same results applied. I sold and purchased the book to see if anything has changed and yet nothing has come of it. Do you know what I could do to fix this?
