My sims won’t load after the new update
Hello! I’m not sure how much information is exactly needed for this as this is my first time posting on here, never have had something like this happen before lol!
After the update that introduced the occult and death options being choosable in cas, my sims saves just will not load. it stays on the loading screen for a long time, and once it’s done, it says “The game failed to load. Error Code: 135:2cec3921:ecc18a37. It is recommended that you relaunch the game.” I currently can make sims in cas, and i know it’s not a specific save corrupted because i’ve tried making new families. I’m truly confused at this because i have no clue what to do. I clicked repair in the EA app, which didn’t seem to help at all. Not sure if the following info helps too much considering i’ve heard similar happening to non mod users, but when my sims game loads, my old cc loading screen is completely glitching out, there’s this white image that flickers over the plumbob. I do have many mods, however, not so sure if i’d actually be able to figure out if one of them is corrupting the game due to the fact i have over 1,700 items in my mod folder. I tried googling my error code and there’s an extremely similar one that seems to have been popping up around 2022, only a single letter different, but it doesn’t help. I’ve tried to turn off my script mods and cc to test it yet it doesn’t help. I apologize if i missed anything, my thoughts have been very scrambled in this short message.
