My Sims wont load when I press play
when I press launch for sims 4 it stars then brings me back to the launch screen it worked a few minutes before this happened all I did was close the game and download 3 mods and it stopped working. I also have additional mods. Im unsure what to do I already Repaired it. And I don't know what I should do because I don't want to lose my progress. Someone please help.
@MikaelaKosovsky Please remove the mods you recently installed. If that doesn't work, remove the entire Mods folder; you don't need to save your progress.
If that doesn't help either, please try playing in a clean user folder. Move the entire Sims 4 folder out of Documents > Electronic Arts and onto your desktop, and when you launch the game, if it launches, a clean folder will spawn with no content. (Your saves and other content will be intact in the folder you moved but temporarily not read by the game.) Don't add anything to the new folder yet; just let me know whether you can get far enough to start a new save and play in live mode for a bit.
If you still can't play, please run a dxdiag and attach it to a post.
