My teen sim had a baby while i wasn't playing the lot, and it has no father...

I play with multiple households in my save.

So i was playing with this one family where the male teen sim was messing around with a sim from a different household.

I switched to playing with the other household only to discover that a new born joined the household. I checked it's profile and saw that the mother is my teen sim. And another weird thing is that the baby's family tree doesn't show who the father is!

How the heck did this happen? She was pregnant and delivered while i wasn't playing the household (and i don't have the option of letting the game advance by itself) and i also know teen sims cant get pregnant! 

in short:

- my teen sim had a baby while i wasn't playing the lot.

- the teen sim doesn't have a "had a baby" milestone in their bio.

- the baby's family tree obviously shows the mother is the teen sim.

- the baby's family tree doesn't show who the father is, even though the teen mom only had one partner (Immaculate Conception maybe? LOL)

If anyone can shed some light on this issue...

    @annakesselman There's a good chance, then, that this was related to the Risky Woohoo mod, given all those details. That mod wasn't updated after Neighborhood Stories was introduced, so there could well be unintended effects, especially if you have all the files for it. If you want a replacement, I see you have MC Command Center now; you can use its settings for pregnancy risk.

    Neighborhood Stories is explained in this Maxis post: https://www.ea.com/games/the-sims/the-sims-4/news/neighborhood-stories-system. MC Command Center has some similar features, so if you're going to keep MCCC and don't want the game to be marrying off your unplayed Sims etc., make sure you know how to use those settings or which modules (files) to delete. The Deaderpool server offers good support on how to use MCCC.

    For the file, 20_Sims_Cap_Remover.package (part of Longer Parties More Guests), XML Injector, and Better BuildBuy still need updating. Better BuildBuy is one that often needs updating for a new patch, so you'll want to keep an eye on reports.

    @luthienrising firstly thank you so much for helping!

    • I did everything you wrote.
    • before I uploaded the mod.txt file I did delete the risky-woohoo mod.
    • the teen wasn't a gallery download. she was born in that household. she is not a young adult, she was an actual high school teen.
    • I don't use neighborhood stories, I don't exactly understand how it works so I don't turn them on - if you could explain in short what they are I'd be very happy..

    I've made a new mod.txt file after all the changes and organizing the folder, if you can check please!

    so now after all these changes the game won't do this again? (make my teens pregnant while I'm away)?
