Hey! I have the same problem and it definitely has something to do with high school ep. If I go to the graduation event and see "classmates" there, they become young adults but it seems if they don't go to the graduation they're permanently stuck as teens. I have no solution but at least from what I've noticed the graduation event seems to be what's causing this 😞
