Nature's Calling event issue

When I open the new Nature's Calling event, the task prize descriptions have been overwritten with 'wwwwwww'. I can however click on the item and see the correct info. I have CC/Mods playing on a Mac. This wasn't an issue in a previous save, but I've created a new save and now it looks like this.

I realise the prize description is actually listed HAHA but still don't know what this 'wwwwwww' is ???

Do you have mods or CC in your Mods folder? If so, please do a "vanilla" test: Drag the Mods folder to the desktop and rename it, delete the file called localthumbcache, open the game to test, and exit without saving.
