NPCC disallows visiting university housing - how do I fix it?

Title says it all. Whenever I get one of my Sims to visit a university housing lot, NPCC disallows it for some reason and the game says, 'No one lives here' with a greyed-out 'Be Checked In' box. I ch...

I don't like to pop into a thread and not say something, but I am totally unaware of what the NPCC mod even is. Have you checked to see if it's compatible with the latest patch?
