[OLD] Broken/Updated Mods & CC: May 2023 Grunge Booknook Patch and June '23 mini-patch

I've gone through all the broken and cleared mods in this thread but my sims still can't interact with each other. I can click on a sim and say friendly introduction (or what have you), but then both sims reset without doing the interaction. What do I do?? Is it the UI cheats??
