[patch 1.122] Game launches to black screen with main-menu words but no picture

I accidentally update my game without knowing that the mod and cc are broken since the marketplace is out. It updated like usual, but it won't open after that. So I tried to repair it on the EA ...

When I load into the sims 4 I'm greeted with a black screen. My game is fully updated and I've gone through all my mods and cc. Nothing is broken, however as soon as the game fully loads all I get is a black screen instead of the main menu.
