play button not visible for households

Question

I just booted up my sims game after the new update and the play button for households isn't there. its there for non-residential lots, create new household when I load a world and for sims living in apartments but not for households living on a residential lot. I thought it may be a mod issue but nope, happens when I run a completely mod and cc free save. Infinite loading screen after manage worlds for both as well (trying to play live mode, buildbuy and cas). I have done a repair and the problem still persists. If there is a mod that could have caused this so I can rule it out let me know but it seems to be a bug with my game as it does happen on a vanilla save too. I play on Mac just in case I posted this on the wrong forum.&nbsp;

just done this, clearly a mods issue as it doesn't happen on the vanilla game I tested, but it does with mods. any mods that cause this issue? because I have been through the forum and I thought I cleaned my folder correctly&nbsp;

echoesofsilencex No idea I'm afraid but I'm moving your thread to the Mods forum as it isn't a Mac specific issue and you'll get much better Mods advice there. Check out the pinned help guides in the right sidebar for further help.
