Hi, I have an issue
See my attached screenshot - I want to build walls on top of the platform/square like the house next to my lot. However, for some reason, the walls I add keep building on the ground level.
How can I build walls on top of this? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
@desims3freak The house next door uses a foundation, not platforms, to raise its height. The foundation tool is separate and will accomplish what you want.
@desims3freak If I'm understanding your question correctly what you are trying to do is add a foundation to your home (like the one next door), not build walls on the platform area. I have some building tutorial info on this page, that may be of some use in this process, but unfortunately I don't see information specifically about foundations on the page. I will add some info below about that:
Please draw/build a room/s. Now click on the room/s to highlight them and notice a up and down arrow/plumbob in the middle of the room:
Drag the highlighted plumbob upward and a foundation will be created/height-adjusted. You can change the foundation colors/style in the build area shown in this screenshot:
