@luthienrising @DeKay I removed the mods and it worked! It loads a brand new save. And now looking into it I think I know what it was. When last months update came out which made changes to how you save/load games etc. I downloaded a mod which cycles the animations on the main menu between the ones from all the packs. I think that was conflicting with the UI on the main menu :)
