rainbow circle at top left of screen, once loading is finished screen goes black

please someone help. i'm not sure if this is the right place to post this, but this is only happening in my sims 4 game. whenever i try to load into the game, i get a random and small, rainbow circle...

    i seemed to have found the culprit. i didn't realize the rainbow circle was reshade, and the specific gshade that has been causing a black screen on start up was the hot cocoa gshade by cocodaintysims.

Could you post your Computer's DxDiag?

- Press Windows-Key + R
- Type: DxDiag
- Click on Save all Information.
- Attach the Text File to your post

crinrict​ hi, thanks so much for your response :')

i found that switching my graphics from low/medium to high, as well as playing in laptop mode (temporarily) fixed the issue.  however, it went back to the circle logo and black screen.

here is the text file.
