Try the following

• Close the game
  - Rename Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4 to Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4_Old
  Repair the game
  - Start the game. All your content will be gone now as the game created a new folder. All your saves/.. is still in the old folder so not to worry.
  - Close the game
  - Copy the save game with the error from Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4_Old\Saves to the new Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4
  - Start your save game
  - Check if you still have the error and if you do, try the double load again.
  - Report back with your results for further steps on how to get your stuff back.

Please also provide any LastException files in Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4 you get.

- Delete the ones you have
- Trigger the error again
- Check if new ones are created
- If that is the case, please copy/paste the content here. You can open the file with any text editor.

My game been doing true same exact thing every time I load my game everything in my inventory disappears. Did you do what Crinrict asked? If so did it work?

I had the same problem and in top of that I couldn't drag anything out of my Sims' inventory.

I just now installed the latest MCCC mod update and problem solved.

That happened to me as well and all I had to do is update my MC commands and UI cheat extension so if you have any mods update them to the current and new version for the adventure awaits pack

the same happened to me after i got the new update :( all my fruits and vegetables from the freezer disappeared, the food from the inventory, and the photos went black. also, all the paintings my sims made became blank again

michitamd​ Update MC Command Center. If you saved with your inventory/fridge/bookshelves empty, load an earlier version of the save. See Broken and Updated Mods and CC for other mods you might need to remove or update. You might also want to see How to Use Mods and CC about how to manage your mods when the game updates

I just updated mc command and mc woohoo and that fixed it for me!!!!!!!!
