Actually, not ANY FOOD MODS just the broken ones (it's important to always update your mods especially those ones) so the working custom food ones should not be a problem. But I don't exactly know which one of my custom food (and custom appliances that were in the same folder) was causing the issue. As you saw in the replies, it might be different for everyone though.

@Orlanda96 If you ever do narrow it down and there isn't an update for that item, please do let me know!

unfourtanely I have this problem too and I don’t know what to do about it. Can you please tell me which custom food mods you deleted? I tried to delete some mods from my folder but I can’t find the solution and It’s really annoying..

@luthienrising  Hey 🙂 So I've been able to narrow it down - especially as I surprisingly experienced the same issue again though I had my food mod folder deleted since my last comment-, and it was ACTUALLY the work-from-home careers by rubi (https://modthesims.info/m/178638). Today, when I deleted her "vendor career" (https://modthesims.info/d/644746/vendor-career-rubi-s-quot-work-from-home-quot-career-mods.html) the food stalls were selling food again 😉 And it seems that barista and barkeeper careers are causing the same issue (the lag started again when I tried to put them back in my mod folder). Today I also tried to test the bug, by putting my food mod folder from June back, and it didn't cause any issues so my comment from back then was a wrong assumption! (I must have been deleting the work-from-home careers by accident back then... 🤔 ) 

And it's still Orlanda96, I am using another account as I have an issue with my previous one 😞

Hello @Mellvia3 , I recently experienced the same issue again and fixed it (again) today. But, I realized that it wasn't my food mod folder that was causing the issue because I don't have it anymore. So, it ended up being the work-from-home careers "vendor", "barkeeper", and "barista" by rubi for an unknown reason (https://modthesims.info/m/178638) 😳 . When I deleted these careers, everything went back to normal and my sims were finally able to order food again at the Sulani food stalls. I also tried to put back my food mod folder from back then to check if there would still be an issue with it, but it didn't bring the bug back so I was wrong after all! I don't know much about modding but it's probably not a bug related to a food stall or food tuning, but to the vendor role tuning? 🤔 I also currently have the high school cafeteria override by Littlbowbub and it doesn't cause any issues! 🙂

However, if you were wondering, my food mod folder contained mods from Littlbowbub (hot chocolate maker, toddler foods, Grannies Ol recipe book, custom recipes, coobook), icemunmun (custom recipes, gourmet burger set), ONI (Zoomers delivery plus), Somik and Severenika (SS cookbook, functional buffet, recipe wedding cakes, grocery store), ATS4 (food raclette), custom wedding cakes from Leniad's cupboard, tropical drinks from ohmysims, better buffet from _[QMB], custom appliances from Pied Piper, custom teas, custom food objects, harvestables, and appliances from brazenlotus. I remember previously having food stall mods (jewelry, honey and mead by Pied Piper) and other custom appliances (sandwich and cake tray by Pied Piper) but I don't see it in my backup from june so I must have deleted them beforehand. I hope that this will help 🙂 Little tip (other than mcc or better exceptions) for finding a broken mod directly in your folders: Categorize your mod by type (ex: CAS, OBJECTS, GAMEPLAY, TRAITS, ASPIRATIONS) or by modder name (it's easier for me to update them that way), and delete each folder one by one (or half and half) and log into the game every time you do this. Yes it takes hours and that's probably not the best way but that's how I found the cause of my "buying produce" issue.... 😞
