@alexclassof2010 Many different mods can cause this. For example, right now broken freelance career mods cause it.
It can also be caused by removing cooking mods before you've deleted food/plates made with them and by removing CC that had a Growing Together Milestone associated with it. Test if you can load a household you've never played as before.
Then start by testing vanilla to make sure your cause is a mod (keeping in mind those other possible problems): Exit Sims 4 then move (not copy) your Mods folder to your desktop or rename it. Then delete the file called localthumbcache from Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4. If you think you might accidentally forget to exit without saving after testing, copy your Saves folder to your desktop too, to back it up. Now open Sims 4 and see if you still have the problem. If you don't, you can start the process of figuring out what from your Mods folder was causing it.
