That wasn't a diagonal wall though and only a certain TV.

Have you tested if it also doesn't work in another house with a diagonal wall ?

Thanks Crin, I did check out that thread but it didn't help ☹️ I've tested all the other wall mount TVs and got the same result - it does not work. It's so strange. I went to another lot and built a similar setup and it works fine (See photos). I'm not sure what I am doing wrong in build mode. I've never encountered such an issue in all the years I've been playing Sims 4. I also tried removing the surrounding walls, re-build it and the platform, moved the couches around same issue 😢
