@puzzlezaddict I did that, it did work actually (and instead of moving the mods folder to the desktop I just disabled mods in the game options instead). whoever, I am a type of person that definitely can't play this game without mods. i did relaunched after with mods and have my same issue with not being able to save. so is this just an EA hates mods thing or what?
@BurntSpicyTofu Updates always break mods. That's the price of adding new features and implementing new fixes: the game code changes, and mods that depended on the old code break. Updates that precede expansion pack releases are especially hard on mods due to all the new code required for the expansion.
At any rate, to find out what's currently broken, you can start here:
Ctrl-F is your friend.
For the rest, there's no substitute for testing, and if a given mod is broken and hasn't been updated, you'll need to go without for now.

@puzzlezaddict Huh, okay looks like I might just have to wait or play a new file without mods for now. I've been playing for about a year and no update in that time has done this. Maybe once before but it only stayed for like a day. To be fair, this is a big update a long time coming, so that could definitely be part of it.

Also a bit ago it was fixed and now saves with mods, thank goodness!
