- siirysiir4 years agoSeasoned Ace@Idiosyncratic53 do you know if I can buy something from the curio booth to unlock both the hat and the vest? I figured that the career ones are relatively easy to get with cheating the career but that hazmat suit seems to be the hardest one. I was hoping there to be a cheat for it.. Like I just want to use these outfits in my own way, I don't want to play the Strangerville story just to get them.. :/

@siirysiir Many players have uploaded "all outfits" Sims to the Gallery. They're just Sims who have already completed all of the career objectives to unlock the outfits. If you add one of those Sims to your household, it will unlock the outfits for all of the other members of that household as well. For my game I just used Sims 4 Studio to create CC versions of all of those outfits (I wanted to create different versions of the military uniforms with different rank insignia for my sci fi world).
- siirysiir4 years agoSeasoned Ace@RandomBuzziness thanks for your reply, I'm aware of this but I've noticed that it's a bit of a hit and miss because often the gallery sims are still missing some of the stuff that would have been in the game at the time the sim was uploaded to the gallery so I wouldn't want to rely on them since I can't know which uploaders to trust actually really having all outfits unlocked. I wish we got a cheat to unlock everything!

@siirysiir That's very true about Gallery Sims. I guess the nearest cheat to what you are looking for is the careers.promote cheat. You could create your own super-Sim with all career outfits unlocked via the career promotions cheat and store that Sim in your Library. I do agree with you, I also wish there was an easier way. I only did the S4S thing because I wanted to make the recolors of the StrangerVille uniforms, plus I wanted an unlocked version of the Park Ranger outfit for a different recolor project.
@RandomBuzziness Yes! That is an excellent idea. I for one have used the careers.promote cheat a lot just to get the fingerless gloves from the stylist career. lol I never thought about creating and saving my own "super sim" to unlock everything. Thank you!
- siirysiir4 years agoSeasoned Ace@RandomBuzziness haha now that I remembered, I've actually done this already :DD But as far as I understand, in some cases different branches of the same career unlock different stuff so I actually need 2 super sims, each following different branches.. It's just such a hassle, dammit. Oh and then a kid sim if you want to unlock scouting outfits too. AND it's not only careers, we need to max skills to get some outfits. You know, imagine if one cheat could unlock all these.. Or even just an all-in-one cheat based on the pack, that would be ok too bc you'd only have to change the digit in the cheat console to get everything but it'd be a small quirk compared to what lengths we have to go to now.
- Idiosyncratic534 years agoSeasoned Veteran@siirysiir If you're able to, there is an amazing mod by Fogity which makes every CAS option (locked items, club items, career items, occult items, etc) always available that I highly reccomend if you want those items without having to unlock them for every household every time
