Re: How to get rid of "Navigating Needs" panel in game

@AlexvonAuen You mean the pop-ups for the discovery quests ?

Do they not go away at all when you disable then or just be back once you start the game again ?

It looks like you need to set them for each save game.

    Hi Crin,

I've disabled "Discovery Quests", as stated above, and re-started the game (twice).
When I re-start the game, the "Navigating Needs" panel is still there, although "Discovery Quests" is showing as disabled.
    Enclosed are two screenshots.

@AlexvonAuen You might need to finishe the quest you started. It shouldn't take long

I wasn't sure if the setting stuck for you or not. The whole thing is a bit illogical to me as it's per save game and you have to actually save the game in order for the setting to stick.

    I didn't realise I had even started a quest......how do I finish it??
I did, of course, save the last game....as I had done quite a bit of building and re-modelling work on the public park/pool.

Would it help if I clicked on the 'reset' button? (see enclosed)
There are eight Sims in this house and I have no idea whom this pertains to.
There is (now) also nothing showing in the "Navigating Needs" panel to finish.

I've also clicked on "End Quest" numerous times, but it only keeps flipping back to the last option (see enclosure).

"End Quest" doesn't seem to work.

Mods: just MCCC (as far as I can recall....).
CC: absolute loads (furniture, windows/doors, hair, eyebrows, lashes, clothes,.......).

Just tried a new fix (which, unfortunately, did not work).

When re-starting, instead of clicking on 'Resume', I clicked 'Load Game' (i.e., for the same game).
Since this game has eight different households, I then picked a completely different household.
However, the "Navigating Needs" panel is still there (albeit: empty) for a completely different household.

JFYI: (in case anyone else has the same problem)
Hitting the 'Reset' button (s. enclosed) got rid of the panel.

But thank you much for the assistance and tips.

    Cheers!

@AlexvonAuen Thought you were using some kind of ui mods because of the pic you posted in post #6. That doesn't look right.

This is how mine looks and the ending works for me so I'm thinking maybe some mods is messing it up for you.
