So you can not drag and drop and also have no interaction put into inventory ?

well i cant take it in my inventory to
i have it made by the machine in the lab
but for some reason the PUT DEVICE IN INVENTORY
is greyed out , so how can i take it ?
The device must be turned off if you have turned it on.
i dont have any option to turn it off, when i click on it
it only gives me 2 options talk with robot , and put
device in inventory.

Can you grab and move it and drop it on your inventory that way ?
Is the momentum conserver still placed on the constructor? You must drag it to somewhere else to properly interact with it.
PS. The two options you get means that you are clicking on the constructor itself not the momentum conserver. Those are the two options available with the constructor when a finished item is still placed on it.
- I have this exact same issue and cannot move the momentum conserver. There is a white highlight that shows up around it when I hover the cursor on it. Clicking brings up the one option to put in inventory but it's greyed out and doesn't work when clicked. When you click and drag it only moves the camera but does not do anything else. There is no option to turn off the machine, only and option to talk with the robot. Do you need to switch modes somehow to move it?
I've just tested this and it works fine for me. You have to drag it out of the machine but if you have issues dragging,
- Did the Sim you try the dragging with built it ?
- Have you tried repairing your game ?
- Are you using any mods ?
You get the option to talk with the robot because you click on the constructor instead of the Momentum Conserver.
You may find it easier to grab the MC if you zoom in on it.
nope i tryed cant drag it or put it in my inventory
it still sits on teh machine
i give up ,anyway seems my game is also bugged somehow
got a fire in my kitchen, the fire alrm is going off
no firetruck or fireman coming
i burn up and die, death is coming just stands there doing nothing
so seems teh sims is still not working as it should
There's no fire truck in Sims 4. You have to put it out yourself.
Are you using any mods in your game ?
- Uhm, no. I clicked on the momentum conserver, I did zoom in and like I said before the momentum conserver had a white highlight around it. It gives the option of "put in inventory" but that is greyed out.
It's the same sim who built it. No mods being used at all. How would I "repair the game"? I watched a video of someone else doing it. Tried the exact same thing but it will not move the conserver, only moves my camera around. Is it a possible bug because it was not built on The same day I'm trying to pick it up? It seems that you are trying to drag it with the right mouse button which rotates the camera. Use the left mouse button.
If you use a right handed mouse the buttons are switched.
- No I'm using the left mouse button like I do with everything else in the game. I also tried both buttons before posting on here so that's not it.
Open build mode. Can you pick it up here?
Do you have other issues with camera mode or is this the only instance you're having issues with ?
To repair the game, right click on the game in Origin (while you have the game closed) and hit repair game.
- I figured out how to fix it. It was the only time I had issues in the game with the camera not working correctly. I could not pick up the momentum conserver which said "created by (my sim)" and when I held down left mouse button it would pan the camera around instead. I went into build mode but still could not put it in my inventory. I was able to sell it in build mode though and build a new one. After I built the new one I was able to move it into my inventory the way you're supposed to be able to with no problems. Apparently it's a glitch where if you don't pick it up on the same day you make it then you can't take it.
So if this happens to anyone else just go to build mode, sell the momentum conserver on the constructor, invent it again and it should work.
