if you have seasons and a house (not apartment) it's pretty easy, actually. build a fenced-in outdoor area (maybe with a pool in it or add the pool later). wait for the sim to arrive during winter. lure them into the "pool" area (you don't even need get your sim to swim, just get the target near it or build the pool after they're already inside). lock them inside the fenced in area. wait. eventually they will put on swimwear and freeze to death. this is the fastest cheat-free, mod-free method I've been able to find. 👍
