Re: MCCC wont work!

Try this if you haven't already:

Move your mods folder to the desktop delete the localthumbcache.package from the Sims 4 folder. This helps clear up some game glitches and will help to make sure there isn't any issues with mods. Like mods/cc that are outdated or no longer in game.

How to do this:
- Go to the Electronic Arts folder [C:\Users\Username\Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4]
- Right-click on the Mods folder and select Cut, and Paste it to the desktop.

Try playing the game again to see if that helps.

    Hi, I also have the same problem and I tried many things just to make MCCC work (like deleting all my cc/mods) but it didn't work. Then I tried enabling script mods and restarting the game but it also didn't work. What should I do?

    Hey. I also had this problem until 5 minutes ago. Try extracting the .ts4script files by opening the MCCC(and woohoo MCC) zip folder(s). Add them to Mod and Tray folder. Enabel script mods. All done

    All files belonging to the Mod goes in the mods folder. None of them should be in the tray folder. The latter is used for things you have in your library.

    I believe the houses that you download should be put in the tray folder so that they show up in your library so the tray folder does have its uses

    @shadylane103, what @jpkarlsen was talking about was Mods shouldn't be in the tray folder, not that the Tray Folder didn't have any uses.😉  But that post was almost from a year ago! 🤭

    If you did that you basically took out your tscript files from your game I’m also having this problem so it just an idea.
