THAT would explain why my paranoid multiple save slots use during testing seemed to 'fix' things - for a limited time only. Fantastic, I will have to try using 'Save as' as my go-to save method for myself and see if it works as a temporary solution.

@darrel122500 I just removed Adult Mod from my game and put in MCCC and UI Cheats, and the game reset one day (but not all the way to the beginning). Last night when I played with only Adult Mod I didn't have any problems (played through two days and closed and opened my game a few times to test, didn't have the reset issue). So based on my anecdotal experience, it's either MCCC or UI OR some combination of them. Will keep testing though...I haven't satisfied my need for a solid answer!

But I will try the save as option to at least keep my game going.

For a moment while testing I thought the big problem was timed in some strange way, because both times I got a significant reset I was unceremoniously dumped back to the first Friday of the season (on 28-days-in-a-season setting). Any time warps prior to this were minor in comparison, as far as I recall, though this was also when I was using 'save as' almost all the time during testing so ... eh.
Considering that, and that I've only encountered it that badly twice, so far I'll chalk that up to unlucky coincidence, though.

I'll be playing out an in-game week with my (luckily) small cocktail of mods and CC and see if being very particular about my saving can keep it playable in the (somewhat) long run. Also gonna keep following this thread closely to see if anyone figures out anything else.

After the Tuesday update and the HSY pack releasing, I have super long load times into my home lot and time keeps resetting when traveling somewhere. It seems to reset to last saved time, but not always. I was in Tuesday morning and it reset to Monday morning, when I started playing. I had already saved in between. Before that it reset from like Wednesday when Winterfest was starting to Sunday 1 am. and Winterfest was on, despite the calendar reading it would start on Wednesday and at 6am. It was also really strange, before the first time reset, when high school started the principal and student were all randomly generated NPC's instead of the people who came with the pack. I have had to start high school now 3 times and I still have all the relationships and stuff with most people but some are just gone.
