Re: [MOD RELATED] Sims all get same name in CAS

I was suffering through this issue too, but I somehow managed to fix it in my game (for the time being). For me, I narrowed it down to any mods that included custom preferences (likes/dislikes) that no longer showed up in CAS. Anytime I loaded Sims into CAS I had previously saved that had such mod-related likes/dislikes (or attempted to modify in CAS), they would be the ones transferring over the names, pronouns, gender, and even voice to other Sims. The names would eventually end up ____ and pronouns turned into (/). If it wasn't the transferring over of names and all, then I would just get the infinite loading screen (though I didn't get the infinite loading screen when clicking create a new household, mostly when I wanted to enter CAS with a Sim I was currently using). I tested with old Sims I made using absolutely no custom likes/dislikes, and they would mostly be fine when I added them into CAS through create a household, but not always (even they managed to get the glitch too).

I took out the mod that I used to give my Sims personality archetype likes/dislikes, deleted the localthumbcache, repaired my game, and my issue went away (for now). The mod was apparently updated a few days ago, but the actual likes/dislikes for it never showed up in CAS even after downloading the new version. I'm not sure if likes/dislikes have been reworked somehow causing any custom mod likes/dislikes that haven't been properly updated (and that no longer show up in CAS) to make CAS fail for me? I am able to use mods with custom preferences that actually show up in CAS such as the Paws and Claws Animal Likes/Dislikes or Vicky Sims' Custom Mood Preferences, along with the custom preference mod needed to make those two mods work. This has been my experience anyway.
