Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? 1. Download the latest patch 2. Have a toddler in your family
What happens when the bug occurs? The toddlers don’t look like a normal sim- their faces glitch out
What do you expect to see? My toddlers looking like normal sims
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Yes
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Yes
Please describe the patch or change you made. I updated my game to the 1.103.315.1020 patch

After downloading yesterday’s (December 14th) patch, which is patch 1.103.315.1020, my toddlers faces are glitched out and look deformed.

My toddlers look like this in both cas and live mode, though it’s easier to see in cas than it is in live mode. The pictures I provided are my toddlers in cas.

I’ve checked my other sims that are different ages and they don’t have this glitch, it’s just the toddlers.

If anyone has had this issue, how did you fix it? I’ve never had this issue before until I updated my game to the latest patch ☹️

    Try removing your mods and deleting localthumbcache. This issue is usually caused by Kijiko's eyelash remover or the Teanmoon mouth slider

    @atr0xiis It was escapingpotplant’s fix for cienzroza’s no ea eyelashes mod causing the issue for me!! Tysm for your help 🙂

    I don’t have that downloaded or the other mod that the other person mentioned causing the problem, Do you know what else could fix it?

    Hi @spritelst Any eyelash-related CC or preset is a possible suspect. Test by removing any of those from Mods and deleting localthumbcache.

    I’m gonna go ahead and try what you suggested, thanks for the help. I don’t have any eyelash related cc for babies-children and I have one eyelash for teenage-elder female sims (this glitch is only happening with boys) but I’ll go through my mods folder and check for anything that could cause it.

    my sims from different ages doesn't have this glitch either only my toddlers, and i couldn't play my game unless i update it. does anybody know how to fix it?????

    @chameya18 If you use CC or presets, please test without those (and delete localthumbcache). There's some chance that you can fix this with removing broken files and updating where updates are available. There's a list in the CC section of Broken/Updated Mods .

    I am having the same issues with the toddlers faces looking all weird and melted. It’s like this with or without CC and mods in my game. It’s also worth noting that I don’t have any of the mentioned CC items in my game that has been known to cause this issue.

    @abrasivelight66 Could you try this please?

    • Exit Sims 4 then drag your whole Sims 4 folder from Document > Electronic Arts to your desktop.
    • Launch Sims 4 and reset your Options.
    • Select "New" and make a family with a Toddler.
    • If that works, exit and copy just your old saves files (not the folder itself) into the new saves folder and check again.
