Re: my sims 4 makes me delete all my mods

@Summer0012

Move out your whole Mods folder to the desktop and delete the localthumbcache.package file in the Sims 4 folder. Launch the game and see if it now works.

    It worked without the mods. So I put them back in but it did not work.

    Then one or more of your mods is out of date/conflicting with another mod and you need to find out which one by process of elimination. Move them all out and then back in in small batches, testing to see if your game works after adding each batch. When it stops working move out the batch you just added and then from that batch add in one mod at a time until you've found the mod(s) causing the issue.

    every time I try to put only 1 thing of cc in my mods folder then try to play the game it won't let me. I have tried to put in every piece of cc I own in by itself but it still won't work.

    Ok. Move everything out of your Mods folder then launch the game so a new resource.cfg file is created. Check you have mods and cc enables in the game options then quit the game. Move one piece of CC, in .package format, into your Mods folder then launch the game, is it showing up? If not could you please provide me with the link to the CC item you have just tried?
