@windchime226     Hello!  Hopefully you don't mind using cheats because that's the only way to remove traits, as far as I know.  You can also use mods like MCCC but mods can have other effects on your game. 

To activate cheats you must first open the cheat console.  For gaming consoles you should be able to hold down all the triggers at the same time.  Just remember that some cheats (like removing traits probably) will disable achievements.  For PC or Mac press ctrl+shift+C on the keyboard to open the cheat bar.  In the cheat bar type testingcheats on and hit enter.  Then to remove a trait, you should type traits.remove_trait (trait name)

Edit: I forgot to mention that the sim must be active when you enter the cheat.

To remove the kindness trait type or copy paste

traits.remove_trait Kindness_Ambassador

To remove the confidante trait type or copy paste

traits.remove_trait NosyNeighbor
